Medical Disclaimer

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Nicer Health publishes general health and wellness information. This page explains what that information is, what it isn’t, and how to use it safely.

We’ve written it in plain language, because a disclaimer nobody reads protects nobody — including you.

The Short Version

The content on this site is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your individual situation. You use the information here at your own discretion and risk.

We Do Not Provide Medical Advice

Nicer Health is not a medical provider. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or offer personalized medical guidance. Nothing on this site should be read as advice for your specific circumstances.

Health information is general by nature. Two people with the same symptoms, condition, or goal may need completely different approaches, and only a professional who knows your history, medications, and circumstances can determine what’s appropriate for you.

Always Consult a Qualified Professional

Please speak with a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health. This is especially important if you:

  • Have a medical condition, or suspect you might have one.
  • Take prescription medication, including for a chronic condition.
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive.
  • Are under 18, or are responsible for a child’s health.
  • Have a history of an eating disorder, or are in recovery from one.
  • Are experiencing symptoms that concern you.

Do not delay seeking medical advice, disregard advice you have already received, or stop a prescribed treatment because of something you read on this site.

In an Emergency

If you think you may be having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this website, or on any response from us, in an emergency situation.

About Supplements

Nicer Health publishes reviews and explainers about dietary supplements. This is a category where the marketing frequently outruns the evidence, and we want to be clear about what we’re saying.

  • Statements about dietary supplements on this site have not been evaluated by any regulatory authority. No supplement discussed here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • Evidence for many supplement ingredients is limited, mixed, or preliminary. Where that’s the case, we say so — but any product category should be approached with realistic expectations.
  • Supplements can interact with medications and may not be appropriate for people with certain conditions or during pregnancy. This is a conversation to have with a pharmacist or doctor, not something to determine from a website.
  • No supplement is a substitute for healthy eating, physical activity, adequate sleep, or medical care.

About Mental Health Content

Some articles on this site discuss stress, mood, motivation, habits, and emotional wellbeing. This content is educational and is not a substitute for care from a mental health professional.

If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline in your country immediately.

About Third-Party Health Resources

Nicer Health sometimes links to or features external resources — including books, eBooks, guides, studies, and materials published by other authors or organizations. Some of these cover health topics.

We don’t write, review, or verify the medical accuracy of every third-party resource we link to. A book being freely available, or a study being published, doesn’t mean its health claims are current, accurate, or appropriate for you. When you read a linked resource, you are relying on that author and publisher, not on Nicer Health.

If you are making a health decision, treat any external resource the same way you would treat any other source — with a critical eye, and ideally with input from a qualified professional.

No Warranties

The information on this site is provided on an “as is” basis, without representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant or represent that the health information on this site:

  • Is true, accurate, complete, current, or non-misleading.
  • Will be available at any particular time, or available at all.
  • Is appropriate for your individual circumstances.
  • Will produce any particular result if followed.

Health research evolves. Information that was accurate when an article was written may be outdated by the time you read it. We aim to be accurate and to cite sources honestly, but we cannot guarantee that any page reflects the most current evidence.

Reliance Is At Your Own Risk

You agree that you rely on any information on this site at your own risk, and that Nicer Health and its operator are not liable for any claim, loss, demand, or damages of any kind arising from your use of the site or its content — including loss arising from reliance on information that later proves inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for you.

This does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Comments, Questions, and Interactive Features

Nicer Health allows comments and questions through the contact form. Any response you receive through these channels is general in nature and cannot take your individual circumstances into account.

Because communication through these features is limited, any response you receive is likely to be incomplete and may not be appropriate for your situation. It does not constitute personalized medical advice, and it should not be relied upon without confirmation from a qualified healthcare professional.

Please do not post personal medical details in comments. Comments are public, and we cannot provide individualized guidance there.

Sharing This Content

You’re welcome to share articles from this site with others. But please keep in mind that health information is easily misunderstood when it’s separated from its context, and what’s appropriate for you may not be appropriate for someone else.

If you share content from Nicer Health with someone, encourage them to read the full article and, where relevant, to consult their own healthcare professional. This site’s terms regarding third-party reliance apply to anyone who receives information from this site, directly or indirectly.

Relationship to Other Pages

This Medical Disclaimer sits alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Affiliate Disclosure. Together these pages explain the rules that apply to your use of the site. Where there is any conflict, the Terms of Service take precedence.
