This Privacy Policy explains how Nicer Health (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit nicerhealth.com (the “Site”). It applies to all visitors, subscribers, and anyone who interacts with the Site.

Who We Are

Nicer Health is an independent health and wellness website. We are not a company, a clinic, or a medical provider. We publish articles about nutrition, fitness, sleep, weight management, and related topics.

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws, Nicer Health is the data controller for the limited personal information we collect. Because we are a small, independent site, we act as a single point of contact for any privacy questions or requests.

  • Name, email address, and message — if you contact us through the contact form or by email. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.
  • Comment data — if you leave a comment on a post. WordPress stores the name, email address, and comment content you provide, along with your IP address and browser information, to help prevent spam. An anonymized string created from your email address may also be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture associated with it. We do not collect financial information. We do not process payments on the Site. Any purchases you make through affiliate links are handled entirely by the merchant’s own website, under their privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect certain technical information when you visit:

  • Log data — your browser type, language preference, referring site, the date and time of your visit, and pages viewed. This is standard server log information and is not linked to your identity.
  • Analytics data — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. We do not share your personal information with any third party except as necessary to operate the Site or as required by law.

Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships

Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support the Site.

When you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to the merchant’s website. Any information you provide on that site — including payment details — is collected by the merchant, not by us. Cryptocurrency Donations

Nicer Health accepts voluntary cryptocurrency donations (USDT on the TRC-20 and BEP-20 networks). These donations are sent directly to a public blockchain address.

  • We do not collect, store, or associate your wallet address with your identity.
  • We do not request personal or financial information in connection with donations.
  • We do not track who sends a donation or how much any individual has sent.

Blockchain transactions are public and irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed, it cannot be reversed. Donors are responsible for confirming the accuracy of the wallet address and network before sending. Nicer Health is not liable for losses resulting from user error or technical issues. Nicer Health is an independent website and is not a registered charity. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations.

Embedded Content

Articles on the Site may include embedded content from other websites — for example, videos, social media posts, or documents. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website directly. Those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content. We don’t control what those sites do with your data, so we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as we need it:

  • Newsletter subscribers — we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe, we may retain a record that you opted out, to ensure we don’t contact you again.
  • Contact form messages — we keep these for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for reference.
  • Comments — comments remain on the Site indefinitely, along with the name and email address you provided. You can ask us to remove your comment and associated data at any time.
  • Analytics data — Google Analytics retains data according to its own retention settings.
  • Server logs — typically retained for a short period (usually 30–90 days) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Consent records — your cookie consent choice is stored on the Site for 365 days.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal information. We extend these rights to all our readers, regardless of location, because it’s the right thing to do.
